Come visit the deepest gorge in North America. We are located just a 17 Mile drive from the middle of Hells Canyon at Pittsburg landing boat launch area. There are several jet boat tour operators who take guests on jet boat tours of Hells Canyon right from Pittsburgh Landing. The tour will take you through the deepest part of the canyon with all the whitewater on your way to Hells Canyon dam and visitor center.

We work with Northwest River Adventures to provide rafting for our guests. They are very experienced in providing safe and fun trips for families. Half and full day trips available that include transportation to and from the launch location with lunch and
drinks included.

Fishing Charters & Bank Fishing
Our Resort sits right on White Bird creek and the lower Salmon River offering a great opportunity to fish right here! Idaho fishing licenses are available in Grangeville, Riggins or online at https://idfg.idaho.gov/licenses. Also there are outfitters here locally that can take you on a private fishing charter via jet boat or drift boat on the Salmon River or Snake River of Hells Canyon. We can help you get your trip set up with a great local outfitter.

How to Find Us

From Lewiston
We are 86 miles south of Lewiston, ID just off of hwy 95. At the bottom of White Bird hill turn left into White Bird. At the stop sign turn left and go one mile on old hwy 95 until you see us on the right. Look for sign that says Salmon River Resort.
From Riggins
We are 30 miles north of Riggins. At mile marker 223 turn left onto old hwy 95. Drive north past a large bridge on left, (do not cross) until you see our sign, Salmon River Resort. Enter the campground using either driveway.
Time change occurs at Riggins; time zone changes from Mountain to Pacific.
